Cosy Nook on Farrant

Cosy. Very cosy! Positive: It was in a safe neighbourhood and easy to get to. We stayed for 5 nights which was likely a little too long for the property's capacity. The property was clean and neat, everything looks new. The property is managed by a very nice team and they were very informative about how to check-in to the property etc. Not a bad little stay. Negative: The property itself is better for maximum 2 or 3 nights- as its so cosy, the space is quite small and we were constantly having to pack and reorganise our bags so that we werent falling over ourselves and our stuff while trying to navigate around the room. Not a big deal but for those who pack heavy or are a little less able to move about easily due to age or mobility issues, this property may not be as suitable.

Very cosy room was a bit small but that's just us. No room to open our suitcases. Positive: The shower was a great size, the supplies were great means we didn't have to go and buy anything. Negative: The lock box was very hard to get into took out two nails and list some skin trying to get into it.

At 74 years of age, I didn’t need the stress and hassles of the door and hot water problems. Positive: It was new and clean. Negative: At 8pm the first night, I was exhausted and had hot food ready to eat, but the door wouldn’t open, so I had to call the manager 3 times before they called me back. She wanted me to wait for a locksmith. I had no cutlery to eat the food and I needed the bathroom. After much difficulty, thankfully I managed to get into the unit. The manager arranged for the locksmith to come the following morning and incredibly suggested I leave a key for the locksmith. Because I had valuables in the unit, I said this was unsuitable, so the locksmith came at 8.30am. The next problem was at the end of the next very busy day, I went to have a shower and all the water was cold. I tried calling the manager again 3 times but I didn’t get a call back.!! Luckily I saw the next door neighbour outside, who kindly helped, and found that the external hot water service unit had been turned off!! Overall, it was a terrible experience!

Perfect for 2 nights Positive: Perfect location, close to town very quiet. Negative: N/A

For $267 per night it seemed expensive Positive: The place was modern, warm and clean on arrival Negative: The bed was uncomfortable and the electric blanket does not work The shower was only average water pressure There was no car parking for the unit and therefore parking was not always available on the street The bathroom sink was blocked which made tooth brushing and hand washing messy
