New Contemporary Studio Escape

Highly recommend this modern studio Positive: A great location close to Lake Wanaka and the shops. Modern and clean. Sunny and quiet. Bathroom is gorgeous for a little studio. Kitchen had everything you need for a short stay. Roomy storage cupboard baggage and winter coats. Negative: Some laundry facilities for sweaty ski gear would make us stay longer next time ;-)

Good place to stay Positive: Great well furnished and comfortable accommodation in a quiet location, even as part of new build area with town an easy 15 mins walk and great views. Whilst not large great for couples and good digital communication from providers Negative: Nothing to dislike

Our stay at the New Contemporary Studio Escape in Wānaka was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented the space was. It strikes the perfect balance between modern luxury and a warm, inviting atmosphere — every detail feels intentional. The studio itself is spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was amazing, the finishes were high-end, and everything we needed was right there. It felt private and peaceful, yet still close enough to everything Wānaka has to offer. What really made this stay special, though, was how it made us feel. There’s something about waking up in such a calm, beautifully curated space that gives you a sense of clarity and confidence. It genuinely left us feeling refreshed and empowered — like we’d stepped outside our usual routine and proven to ourselves that we can embrace new experiences and challenges.
